IPT is excited to announce the 2021 RECONNECT CONFERENCE on July 28-30, 2021, in Austin, Texas. In the pursuit of holding the first in-person, live conference/symposium in nearly 18 months, this modified program is designed for all members and will offer sessions of interest to those in sales, property, state income taxes, and credits and incentives. 

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: The IPT Room Block/IPT Group Rate is full. Please call the hotel at (512) 608-4276 to inquire about availability. 

Reservations at the group rate after the room block is filled or the room block cut-off date of July 12th, whichever occurs first, are subject to hotel availability. 

SPECIAL REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee for this RECONNECT CONFERENCE is $349.00 for members and $699.00 for eligible non-members; a savings of almost half the regular program registration fee.  After July 12th, the fee is $100.00 higher for each category.  For those bringing along a spouse/guest, a special guest fee for the receptions is at $50.00 and you can register at the same time as you do your conference registration.   

PROGRAM AGENDA (Note: Wednesday – Friday Pattern): The program will commence Wednesday afternoon, July 28, 2021, at 2:15 pm,  when the Program Chair will welcome the attendees and introduce the session on State Government Outlook.   For those able to arrive early, there will be a pre-conference session on Texas Tax Disputes - Settlement and Litigation Options at 1:00 pm.  We hope that most will be able to attend this special offering.  The final session on Wednesday is Tax and Business Implications of COVID-19.   Thursday morning features Former Navy Seal Officer Andrew Paul with a keynote address on Leadership Principals for Business and Life.   Thursday afternoon is devoted to discipline-specific sessions.  Friday morning’s sessions begin with Tony Bridwell presenting a keynote entitled “Navigating Disruption with Hope”, which is then followed by an ethics session.  The Conference will conclude with the Annual Meeting of Members at 10:45 am on Friday, July 30, 2021.  A preliminary schedule of sessions is provided for your reference. 

The CMI/CCIP testing opportunities will also be offered in conjunction with this conference; but are scheduled after the final session. The written exams will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, and the oral exams on Saturday, July 31, 2021.  Please refer to the IPT Professional Designation webpage for specific discipline details and deadlines.
