Property Tax Programs

Whether you are entry level or a seasoned tax professional, the Institute has a multitude of educational and certification opportunities to help you build your knowledge and grow your professional network. IPT offers a dynamic educational program that ranges foundational topics to complex taxation strategies, all of which are designed with the property tax professional in mind.

Please note that IPT is accredited by NASBA for CPE purposes. The Institute files property tax programs with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for property tax consultant continuing education. IPT also files a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) application with the state in which the program is held. Any fee imposed by an individual state based on an individual’s credit hours is the responsibility of the individual. The CE credit hours that can be earned at each program will be listed in each event’s brochure.

Requirement: To attend the Real Property Tax School and the Personal Property Tax School you must have passed and/or successfully challenged the Property Tax School. CMI property tax applicants must attend both the Personal Property Tax School and Real Property Tax School as part of the requirements to sit for the CMI Exams; these two schools cannot be challenged.
