IPT's Programs

The Institute is fortunate enough to serve over 6,000 members representing approximately 1,200 corporations, firms, or taxpayers throughout the United States and Canada.  A significant part of IPT's mission is to be the premier provider of state and local taxation (SALT) education for the benefit of IPT members and the SALT community.   IPT hosts over 20 in-person events annually through week-long schools, tax-specific symposiums, an annual conference, workshops and seminars, webinars, and a library of online learning sessions.

As a member-run organization, IPT's educational offerings are created, developed, and administered by those who know the subject best, IPT Members.  Each program is carefully crafted to meet participants' needs, whether it is a study of fundamental principles or advanced concepts, and designed to apply knowledge gained to address the real-world issues tax professionals face every day.
