Terms and Conditions for Use of IPT Logos
The Institute for Professionals in Taxation (“IPT”) has created three graphic logos (collectively the “IPT Logos”) that are available exclusively to IPT members, and to firms and companies with which IPT members are associated as described below, for use on web sites, e-mails, business cards, stationery and other media, in order to signify the member or firm’s relationship with IPT. The IPT Logos are available for download and use under the following terms and conditions:
- The IPT Member Logo may only be used with reference to a particular individual who is currently an active member of IPT; and the Certified Member Logo may only be used with reference to an active member who has been granted the CMI designation and who is current in all requirements for maintaining that designation. For example, such Member and Certified Member Logos may be used on a web page that is limited to biographical information of the respective member, or on personal business stationery or personal business cards of the respective member. The Member and Certified Member Logos should not be used on general company or firm letterhead, web pages or on any other media not related specifically to the individual member.
- The Supporter Logo may only be used with reference to a firm or company that employs one or more active IPT members or in which one or more active IPT members is a member, owner, partner, or other principal. Such companies and firms may use the Supporter Logo on their web sites, or on general business stationery or other media.
- An IPT Logo used on a web page or e-mail must be displayed as a hyperlink to the IPT web site home page (http://www.ipt.org).
- If, when, and for whatever reason the requisite association with IPT ceases to exist (e.g., if a firm or company no longer employs one or more active IPT members), use of the IPT Logo(s) must immediately cease
By downloading one or more of the IPT Logos from the IPT web site, you and your employer, company or firm are agreeing to these terms and conditions as a condition of continuing membership in IPT.
