The 2026 IPT Sales Tax Symposium is designed for SALT professionals at every stage of their career, including corporate tax professionals, consultants, advisors, attorneys, and others working in sales and use tax.

This program is open to IPT members and non-members seeking advanced education, practical insight, and access to a national network of tax professionals.

Hotel Information
Attendees are encouraged to reserve accommodations through the IPT hotel block at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. This hotel block offers a discounted room rate for guests. Staying on site provides convenient access to Symposium sessions, networking events, and other program activities.

Cancellation Policy
Registrants who cancel their paid registration more than two weeks before the start of the symposium will be assessed a $200 cancellation fee, which will be deducted from any refund due. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the start of the program are not eligible for a refund.

Join fellow attendees for a relaxed Sunday afternoon at Disney Springs on September 27, 2026. A shuttle will depart the hotel at noon and return by 4:30 pm, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the outing before the Opening Reception.

At 1:30 pm, experience Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil and Disney:

“Experience the magic of a unique collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Disney with ‘Drawn to Life.’ This extraordinary show brings Walt Disney Animation to life in a way never seen before. It combines live acrobatics, innovative design, dazzling choreography, and new Disney animation, all set to an original score inspired by Disney’s timeless music.”

Tickets are non-refundable and require advance registration. The show runs approximately 90 minutes, and guests of all ages are welcome with a purchased ticket. Ticket price includes show admission and shuttle transportation to and from Disney Springs

This option is designed for attendees and guests who would like to visit Disney Springs without attending the Cirque du Soleil performance.

Disney Springs offers something for everyone, including unique Disney shopping, popular restaurants, waterfront dining, live entertainment, specialty desserts, lounges, and immersive experiences throughout the district. Whether you prefer to browse shops, enjoy lunch with colleagues, grab a sweet treat, or simply take in the atmosphere, Disney Springs is a great way to spend the afternoon.
