Data centers represent the newest asset class, which presents challenges when seeking widely accepted valuation best practices based on their physical, economic and ownership characteristics. These physical structures are architected to power the information technology of today and tomorrow, and are the necessary precursor to servers and software, blurring the lines between real estate and infrastructure. Drawing from his experience with over 1,000 data center and digital infrastructure assignments, Mr. Fudacz will speak to the different types of data centers and approaching their valuations.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, the registrant will be able to:
• Recognize the different types of data centers
• Classify the real and personal property, as well as intangibles, comprising data centers
• Recognize the benefits and challenges of applying the cost, sales, and income approaches to value data centers
