IPT Cancellation Fee Policy for Schools and Programs
Any registrant of an IPT school or program, i.e., symposium or annual conference, will be assessed a $200 cancellation fee if canceling a paid registration prior to two weeks before the commencement of that school or program.  This fee will be deducted from any refund due the registrant.  If canceling a registration less than two weeks before the start of a school or program, registrant will forgo the full registration fee and will not be entitled to any refund.

The Credits & Incentives School is a comprehensive school, providing an in-depth investigation of credits and incentives.  It is designed for individuals who have a basic knowledge of the area.  Emphasis is placed upon participation and group discussion.

Learning Objectives:

• Determine the factors and data needed to conduct the site selection process
• Identify general processes associated with obtaining discretionary and statutory incentives and tools for financing economic development projects
• Determine processes needed to develop a cross-state cost model
• Identify compliance issues and requirements associated with credit and incentives
• Recognize monetization techniques for tax credits
• Complete a group case study based on topics discussed in the school
• Recognize and demonstrate proper ethical conduct within the credits and incentives profession
• Facilitate the development of a network of professional colleagues to assist each other in credits and incentives practices
