Distance Learning

Our Offerings Are Always Expanding

IPT's Knowledge Center (Explore Catalog, Register and Complete Online Courses)
IPT currently has numerous courses available and in the works and they will be uploaded and available for online registration as soon as they are completed. Check our online catalog often to see what courses are available.

Have a request for a specific course? Want to present a course?

We are always looking to add to our catalog. Suggestions for new courses are always welcome. If you are an IPT member and would like to volunteer your time to develop a course, please contact Christina Webb at cwebb@ipt.org

On-Demand Courses

IPT's On-Demand courses can be taken at any time. IPT has receives National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) accreditation for some of our courses. These courses meet the same high-quality standards as our traditional live courses and feature the high caliber of instructors you have come to expect from IPT. In addition, the convenience of online access allows us to add new subject matter on current events, industry and regional specific topics, and emerging issues.

** Please note – We have recently discovered a problem with the system tracking our courses in some browsers. If the course seems to be uncooperative, please use the Google Chrome browser to open and play the course.

After logging in to the IPT website, all distance learning courses can be found in in IPT's Knowledge Center

IPT offers several webinars throughout the year using the Go-To-Webinar platform. These courses are held on specific dates and times and may or may not be recorded for future CPE credit. A list of scheduled webinars is below:

Continuing Education Credits

The Institute for Professionals in Taxation is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors for our Group-Live, QAS Self-Study and Group-Internet-Based (Webinar) programs. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:  www.learningmarket.org.

Continuing Legal Education

IPT does not apply for continuing legal education (CLE) credits for its online courses. Many CLE states accept our programs with proper documentation upon application submission by individual lawyers. Please review your state legal continuing education accreditation body for more information and applications.
