As a European Incentives Director at CTI, you will join a team that leverages the Company’s proprietary tax software to provide an accurate and efficient tax study with superior quality which maximizes business-boosting benefits. This position will be responsible for building both our global sales revenue and the European CTI team, working with and reporting directly to the Managing Director of Global Incentives. The European Incentives Director will interface with the US-based sales team to identify and meet with the appropriate European-based clients. This position will be responsible for managing the regional and/or national level subject matter experts as they are added to the team. The Director will also interface with sub-contracted subject matter experts as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide regular department updates to Managing Director and Principals via weekly reporting of sales successes and personnel development. Meet or exceed predetermined position specific sales goals. Develop European team through motivation, counseling, product knowledge education and management of day-to-day workload. Assist with ongoing and special training of European personnel. Devise strategies and techniques for achieving European sales targets and develop future courses of action. Provide clients with a best-in-class service experience. Responsible for brand promotion, assist in identifying relevant conferences and associations. Understand the ideal CTI client, how they relate to our products, and develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics. Ability to identify and gain entrance into new accounts, secure new clients and revenue streams and develop strong relationships with partners and managers. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to increase sales of CTI service lines. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Thorough understanding of current European State Aid rules. Basic understanding of major tax credit programs including but not limited to UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Ireland. Strong decision-making abilities. Ability to travel up to two weeks per month. Ability to sell projects valued at $25k and up. Ability to work independently and remotely. Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of seeking additional opportunities. Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize the sales activity. Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and enhance customer relationships. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce. Demonstrated strong written/verbal communication skills (English). Ability to maintain professional composure in all situations.
