Manager, Credits & Incentives (Remote) - Cognizant has an immediate opening for Manager - Credits & Incentives. Works directly with and reports to the Director of Workforce Strategy and Economic Development (office of COO) to pursue, manage, and comply with the company’s portfolio of incentive awards.  The primary focus of this role will be workforce training incentives, including federal (WIOA/apprenticeship) and state (grants/credits) as well as global workforce training programs.  This individual will be an integral part of the team as it requires interaction with internal and external stakeholders to identify, secure, and gather the necessary data to comply with and manage workforce incentives. Activities: Manage the compliance of Cognizant’s workforce training incentives. Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex economic incentives to provide meaningful business insights. Working with state and local officials and negotiating workforce economic development incentives. Solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions and processes. Communicate difficult concepts and information to key internal stakeholders. Ability to operate independently. Senior Tax Analyst Credits and Incentives (Deerfield, Illinois) - Our Team identifies and secures Tax Credits & Incentives available to the Company for the investments we make in our business, and for the jobs we create and retain. We are responsible for providing tax support and compliance on Tax Credits & Incentives related matters for stores, distribution centers, and Corporate matters. This exciting role is part identification and implementation of tax strategy, part project management, and part leadership. Business acumen and strong desire to secure incentives available to the Company are as important as practical tax experience for success in this role, but focus is on minimizing tax liability through advanced knowledge of tax laws and regulations and best practices. This role will research and identify new opportunities as well as maintaining current tax processes. This person will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, monitor developments within business unit operations, and will provide recommendations on related tax matters for Tax Credits & Incentives. This person will also mentor and train new staff.  New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) experience a plus.  Strong communication skills required, as there will be many opportunities to collaborate with other Corporate departments and with state and local government authorities in the negotiation of Tax Credits & Incentives.
