Credits and Incentives Management Positions (Newport Beach, California; San Diego, California; Nashville, Tennessee) - Think, LLP is seeking a management level C&I position to manage statutory credit projects for federal and state tax purposes. You’ll work with former Big4 Partners and attorneys on high-value incentive projects for F500 and Small Business clients.  Candidates can work remote anywhere in the country.  Our primary physical locations are Newport Beach, San Diego and Nashville. Senior and Manager Credits and Incentives (Detroit, Michigan) – Ernst Young opportunities at the Senior and Manager level in Detroit. The key to appropriately managing a company's overall state and local tax cost is to align its tax strategies with its business initiatives and then proceed with assisting the company with implementation. Our network of both US and global professionals help companies identify and obtain incentives that may be available through legislative statutes or through negotiation with appropriate federal, state, and local agencies. We provide services across multiple areas that assist companies in identifying and obtaining business incentives and tax credits such as business incentives advisory, multistate statutory credits and refunds, employer credits and incentives, training incentives, and climate change and sustainability-related credits and incentives. To be considered the following is required: a bachelor's degree, professional services experience, and professional knowledge of state and local credits and incentives tax processes, concepts and tools. For the Senior level candidates must have 2 or more years of related experience in a professional services or tax organization, technical writing and research experience in a tax context, and achieved or partially achieved CPA qualification, certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or possess the ability to sit for or be a member of a state bar.  Manager level candidates build on these required skills and additionally will have experience managing budgets, people and projects and will possess either a CPA or certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or are a member of a state bar.
