2021 Virtual Value Added Tax Symposium Brochure

The 2021 Value Added Tax Symposium will be held this fall as a virtual-only program. The VAT Symposium Committee is currently confirming the details for the online program; however, the program will be presented over a three-week period beginning on September 27 and concluding by October 15, 2021. IPT will communicate the final symposium schedule in the near future. 

Tentative topics for the symposium include:
• Global VAT update
• Mergers and Acquisitions: Trade sale carve-outs
• Mergers and Acquisitions: Share deals
• E-Commerce
• Global Compliance
• Value Chain 
• Internal Governance and Controls
• Indirect Tax Transformation
• VAT 101

The nine one-hour sessions are available as a package at $200 for IPT members and $275 for non-members. In addition, both members and non-members who attend the Sales Tax Symposium can attend the virtual symposium for the extraordinary rate of $100; please contact Toby Miller at tmiller@ipt.org to receive this special rate.
