IPT Webinar DLN326: Real Property Impact of COVID19 and a Way Forward
June 17, 2020
2-3 PM EST

COVID-19 has consumed much of the attention of the nation since shelter-in-place orders began in March 2020 across a number of states.  Valuation professionals are tasked with interpreting the short-term and long-term valuation impacts on each sector of real estate and their respective businesses, which remain in flux.  Relative to property taxation, it is important to identify variables in the market that will influence values, gauge what has already impacted operations and as such property values, and project the remaining risk factors yet to be determined.  The purpose of this session will be determining how to proceed under these rapidly changing market conditions by focusing on valuation fundamentals and utilizing protocols learned from previous economic volatility that crossed multiple real estate sectors.
