At its June 2022 meeting, IPT's Board of Governors approved the Credits & Incentives Symposium Committee's request to allow a limited number of state Economic Development Officers (EDOs) to attend the 2022 Credits & Incentives Symposium.

IPT's Credits & Incentives Symposium is the only annual program focused solely on credits & incentives intended for those professionals who represent or work on behalf of businesses. Due to its premier-level educational content, the symposium is a "must attend" for all state and local tax professionals, whether their primary or ancillary focus is C&I.

The symposium features more than twenty general and breakout sessions, including an inspiring keynote address, joint sessions with Property Tax Symposium attendees, and regional and industry updates.  Each session is designed to deliver unparalleled content developed by C&I professionals who represent business interests and understand C&I's intricacies, ever-evolving nature, and how these relate to business objectives. Attendees earn 18.5 CPE credits (including 1.2 IPT Ethics credit) for full program attendance.
