Excellent property tax educational programs and other services are available. The Institute connects property tax members, their peers and colleagues through informative educational programs, a certification program, discussion group forums, local luncheon groups, and online member search.
The Institute offers the CMI professional designation in three tax specialties for those who represent the business sector. The CMI property tax professional designation is a widely recognized mark of distinction among colleagues, employees, assessors, and other taxing authorities.

The Institute’s Property Taxation book in its third edition is available to members at a discounted price. A Property Tax Issues forum has been established to assist members in communicating with their colleagues on issues of mutual concern. Committees are the vehicle through which programs are developed and executed, and other member services are delivered.
